I am not a health expert and so anything that I can find out for you should not be taken as the absolute truth.

Please don't worry too much. What can you do about it? There is nothing you can do but stay positive and hope for the best.  It is a very good step that you have been referred to a specialist. I am sure that they will be able to help you with your problem.

Cystic lesion is doctor speak for, in basic terms, a tumor. But please don't panic. 1cm is quite small. If there is no proof that it is cancerous or growing; it may be decided that it is safe to leave it alone. If you are otherwise fit and well, then there really is no need to worry.

You will be in safe hands with this expert, I am sure. The reason that your appointment has a long wait is probably because your specialist is very good and in high demand.

Again, a Tornwaldt's cyst is a tumor that is usually in almost all cases benign, which means that it is not cancerous. Again with it being benign, they may choose not to remove it depending on where it is on the brain. Again, though this is only very basic information and the expert that you are seeing will be able to explain your condition better to you. If you tell him that you do not understand the terminology, he will explain it to you in layman's terms. Please don't worry in the meantime but if you do want to talk so someone, don't be afraid to go back to your doctor.
