CT scans only pick up cancers larger than 1cm. No CT scans will not positively diagnois cancer. M.D's use many tests, signs, symptoms, history, tumor markers, biopsy, in order to figure out what is going on. I am in remission.

No not positively. CT scan only picks up abnormalities over 1 cm or larger. There are many tests, biopsy, tumor markers, lab work, signs, symptoms, history, then and only then can your M.D. Come up with a cancer diagnosis. Have you been to a nephrologist?
