COPD or chronic obstructive pulmonary disease is lung disease in which chronic bronchitis and emphysema are present. Prognosis of the COPD is goos if detected earlier. Avoiding contributing factors like active and passive smoking, air pollution, dust, fumes or gases can increase the life expectancy. If you avoid all above factors and continue to take medicines and all precautions advised by your doctor, you can live long.
