Wheres is your pain in your hand. I have carpull tunnel in my right hand if I type write for long periods of time it hurts in my wrist and fingers.if I flexs my wrist or anything like that it kills. I would go to your doctor and see what they say. You might have a pinched nerve. And might need physo therapy.
