The best way to tell if this is a hernia is if it you can feel it bubbling with your fingers while you touch it. Also, if it is sensitive to touch.

Can you push the lump back in? And does it pop out again afterwards?

If this is the case, seek advice from your GP, don't leave it!

My daughter developed a hernia here, she was premature, and apparently it is common in premature girls.

The problem was resolved, by a simple 30 minute operation!

My advice to you would be seek the advice your GP, if left it could cause further problems down the line, and I'm sure it's uncomfortable at times!!
