Why do my son's eyelashes grow downward in front of his eye?

This is called trichiasis. It can be caused by eye infections, scarring that's on the eyelid, or even snit her row of lashes growing behind the "normal" one, or the eyelid simply is turning forward. Consult an eye doctor, as this can really be one bothersome and can even scratch the cornea.
