I have had a uti for almost a month and recently got meds. My gut, still, has been bloated and hurts when pressed against, anywhere....is this normal? I am nauseous. The doctor was fast and didn't press on my abdomen.

It may be something else, often antibiotics for UTI, can lead to other problems like imbalance of good and bad bacteria in the gut, an increase in Candida.

Go back and see your doctor, they can test your water to see if an infection is still present.  Make sure you finish all your medication and drink plenty of water.  Sometimes UTI's need a stronger or longer course of antibiotics.

Q. Would a 1/2 c daily of cranberry juice (not from concentrat) real juice possibly help? I don't get UTIs and I feel it's because I drink cranberry juice everyday for years.
