You would need aggressive treatment with IV antibiotics and probably spend a few days in the hospital. Only a few antibiotics can fight MRSA and it is always in the system once you get it.. Could also be deadly if left untreated.

What if you are in hospital and have mrsa in your blood and you need two weeks of antibiotics through iv drip do you have to stay in hospital or can you go home and go somewhere to get it done

You can not kill MRSA. Once you have it you will always have MRSA it will just go dormant until a flare up happens if it ever does. Now that doesnt mean once you clear it up it will come back its just a possibility and you are more susceptible.
