My aunt was diagnosed with stage 4 lung cancer last year..the doctor gave her 3 months to live when she was diagnosed... She gets a good report from the oncologist and he says she's doing very well considering her advanced stage...She doesn't have to see him for another 6 months.

My friend was just diagnosed with lung cancer and is also in her brain, adrenals and stomach
does she have any hope??

I don't want to be heartless... But not long maybe 1-4 months... It is VERY painful as well... You will need pain management soon.... I'm very sorry :( Please don't be offended by how I worded my answer, I want to be truthful with you.
