Growing up in the 1960s my mom had us hold a silver spoon lightly against a stye for a minute or two several times a day, and it would clear in a day or two. I recently had a stye as a 53 year old adult, and I asked my chiropractor if there was any science behind it. He said yes, and sold me something better that cleared it up overnight. It's an 8 ounce bottle of water/silver solution, with a dilution of 30 ppm. I took the max dose of 1 teaspoon per day. Overnight the stye shrunk down to where it didn't bother me to wear my contact lenses. I kept taking the meds to finish off the stye and prevent return. Now, this week (2 months later) I had another stye start up, so I drank the silver right away. Again, the next day, it was minor and no longer annoying. I don't sell this stuff or work for them, but to help you find it, Here's some label info: ASAP(tm) Health Max 30 Silver Supplement. Distributed by American Biotech Labs from Alpine Utah. 1tsp has 50mcg of purified silver.

Well, don't touch it!
If you are going to touch it.. Wash your hands really well
the secret trick that I use is rub a gold ring or some sort of gold jewelry against it
I have no idea what its supposed to do, something about the gold particles or something
but it actually does work
and make sure you clean your eyes really well to

Let's use aloe vera to treat a stye on eye because it has a soothing effect  as well as antibacterial and anti-inflammatory properties. When rubbing aloe vera gel frequently on your affected areas, it can help relieve swelling, redness as well as inflammation.

My mom always had me use epsom salts in hot water and I would apply it to my style with a wash cloth. The hot water opens the clogged pore and the epsom draws the poisons out. It worked great for me and you should see results soon.

Eye styes can be treated at home. You can apply warm compresses four times daily for 10 minutes. If it doesn’t disappear in a few days, you should consult a doctor. The doctor would prescribe some ointment or antibiotic drops, and after its usage if the stye still remains, surgical drainage may be required.

You can take burdock root to help prevent future stye's.  It is a blood purifier, and blood cleanser.  My husband takes it and it helps his keep styes away. Hope this helps.

My husband had one on his eye. The doctor told us to place a hot rag over the area (as hot as you can stand it) and leave on for 5 to 10 minutes then gently rub it continue this over and over a few times a day and it will disappear . His went away in a couple of months and has not returned back and it has been two years. His was a pretty good size one.

Hope this helps

When I get a stye, I usually purchase a stye cream from the drug store and it clears up in minutes.
