An eating disorder is usually when a person has an uncontrollable lust for food for comfort. This is known as binge eating.
When a person has a radical desire to be skinny. Some of those people will eat and vomit soon after so their bodies will not absorb the food. This is called bulimia. Another is called anorexia. This is when a person simply does not eat enough food. This usually results in a very waify  frame. Check out this image. YUK!

Eating disorder is one of the unspoken secret that affects many families. It is a common among teens and kids, especially young women. As per Wikipedia -"Eating disorders refer to a group of conditions defined by abnormal eating habits that may involve either insufficient or excessive food intake to the detriment of an individual's physical and mental health." However, there are many different types of eating disorder a person can suffer from and the most common are Anorexia, Bulimia, and Binge eating.

The main causes of eating disorders are effects on Behavioral, psychological or social factors come together to affect a child's psyche leading to eating disorders. Specially, it affect on young children and teens who get influenced by the latest fads or cultural images that favor 'skinny' and 'thin' body types.

Eating orders is something that now we see as a common problem, yet it is diversified into complex issues. Teenage Eating Disorders are more common in US according to Stats. So It is not something like someone tries to loose weight or gain weight etc. It is a problem that is to be taken on serious level. More complex problems of an eating disorder comes in form Anorexia, Bulimia etc and they are serious disorders and various mode of treatment are applied to treat them.
