I am sorry to say there is no such thing like merca infection. People pronounce it wrong, it is MRSA which is a bacterial infection. These bacteria are resistant to many antibiotics and difficult to treat. These are acquired from the hospital and community because these are contagious. These are opportunistic bacteria and can cause infection in skin if there is cut or wound. If these bacteria enter blood stream then system infection can result and this is very dangerous condition.
