My husband has a rash that is red with little white blisters and it is the size of a quarter, it usually last about 3 weeks to a month and it comes back about every 3 to 6 months in the same place, it is on the top of his but on his left side. Does it sound like it could be the shingles, he is 62 years old
I have had shingles twice once when I was two and again at 18...actually think I'm about to get them again. As I have the start of what look like pimples but grow to look like bug bites then they start to blister. But is the pain in the area that makes you know. I get mine on my back and wont be able to move when I have them...
Raised red bumps like 10 times worse than poison ivy always severe

My Husband has a rash about the size of a quarter and it is red and has little white blisters on it. It will come and he will have it for about 2 weeks to a month and then he will get it again in a couple of months. The rash is always in the same spot on the top of his but towards the top.
I got the shingles in second grade some of them looked like blisters and the others were medium sized bumps. At the beginning I had shocks of pain on the arm that was when we didnt even no what it was because it hadn't shown the bumps yet. A couple of days later I had to miss school because my doctor said I had the shingles. It had me out of school for about 2 weeks. And when I went back to school I had to wear long sleeved shirts so I wouldnt itch. After the shingles were over I had scars all on my arm and I had gotten dermatitis. This may not happen to everyone but this was what my shingles were like and trust me it was VERY painful!
