Warfarin is to help prevent clotting of blood. You must be at risk which is why it has been prescribed for you. If a blood clot was to form in your leg it could dislodge and travel to your heart or brain resulting in death. The pacemaker is the regulator for your cardiac rhythm. Some drugs can have side effects which are unpleasant, but sometimes it is the lesser of two evils and you may still need to continue with medication. Most drugs build up a theraputic level over time, so it is not a good idea to stop suddenly. See your gp first.
