Well! The thesis statement that you have to select for such area can be decided from the scope of your research paper. For example, if you are dealing with the stress at work place then you can make a thesis statement which is related with such area like, "Stress management at workplace". The idea is that thesis statement should give a one line summary of your thesis.

Some important factors which you have to consider include it should be precise, concise, simple and understandable. Suppose if you are discussing stress at educational place and you just give the thesis statement like, "stress management", then it will not represent your target audience.

Basically a thesis statement is the first step in your research work. It should be very concise and it should also give the main theme or crisp of your research work. You should make a draft on which you will mention the scope of your thesis like if you are writing a thesis on coping stress, then you can make the draft about in what respect you are talking about stress like in workplace or studying environment. Try to develop ideas and make different tentative thesis statements. The more you will make an effort the clearer your statements will be.

Your thesis statement should be one sentence long and it should cover the complete scope of your thesis. For example, if you are generally working on this topic then you can even come up with, "coping with stress". If you are working on it at a workplace then your topic can be, "Coping with stress at a workplace". The idea is to give one sentence summary of your research work.
