Peer pressure, boredom, a misguided sense of experimentation, a desire to appear older than they really are, a lack of responsible adult supervision, no sense of what harm they are doing to their long term future, no respect for the law or the consequences of disobeying the law, a failure to understand what harm they are doing to their bodies (health), all of these contribute to a minors abuse of alcohol.
