I suspect mine has this strong fishy smell. I suspect it is Omega 3's or fish oil which is causing it. In my Omega 3's are sardines, anchovies and salmon ALL strong smelling fish. I have been taking it a long time but recently switched brands and I think that is the cause. Last evening it was awful but this a.m. Maybe a bit better. I've been drinking more water and NOT taking the pills to see if that's it. I want to be sure it's not diabetes which I do not have BUT I still have to be careful as my A1C is 6.0 but my glucose is 93 which is NOT diabetes but the proclivity is there.
