Yuck... I probably would if it was a dare... I ate a beetle right off the floor at school once. This kid just randomly came up and was like "I bet you're not tough enough to eat this." I said would you eat it? He wouldn't so I took it from him and chewed it up. It tasted like nothing. Everyone was laughing sayin' he got beat by a girl! Lol. But that happens a lot because lately my lunch table has been havin' arm wrestling marathons all lunch. I can beat about half the guys... And most of them did football. And I don't mean to brag by any of this just stating interesting facts. But the whole tables like rotates( we all switch one seat to the right) and you face that person. It keeps going til only 2 people are left who haven't been beaten. Who ever wins... WINS! Lol. It was really awkward though when I had to go against my ex boyfriend... He broke my heart :(... But I beat him!:) My Dad has eaten cow and pig tongue and likes it! Yuck...
Tried it! Never again! It's not bad, it was given to us, and I wanted to try it.....Very tough, like the gizzard from a chicken...I cut the rest of it up in a soup------really small! Not one to waste, you know...
The only way I would eat cows tongue is if I was on a deserted island... With NO other source of food, except that, and I was really hungry...... Oh... And IF it was drenched in ketchup. :)
My aunt would serve tongue as a cold cut. I ate it reluctantly (too salty for me), but at the time I didn't realize what it actually was. Now that I do, I won't. LOL!
Boil it first about 5hrs until the skin will peel off slice & eat or fry it. Season after boiling is the best way to make it. I been eating it for years & love it im 28 but got told of a new recipe that i gotta try with it pickiling it like pigs feet, eggs, bolagane
Yes i would & do have my whole life best way to cook it is to boil it about 5 hrs till the skin peels off slice & eat or u can fry it its best to season after boiling it so that it wont loose the flavor of seasoning. I just got another recipe for it that i still gotta try is pickiling it just like pigs feet, eggs, & bolangna
I ate it as a child and I have recently found a Mexican restaurant that serves it. It is tender and tastes just like roast beef. Don't let your mind get in the way of you enjoying what life has to offer.
