If you wear eyeglasses, do you have the kind that is light adjusting or not? Do you find light adjusting lenses necessary?

I owned a pair of transition lens glasses and liked the idea but they just didn't suit my profession. As a contractor, I would go from outside light to the inside of a building and would always have to wait for the lenses to adjust to the dim lighting indoors. After about a year of putting up with that, I never got them again.

No ... I use both glasses and contacts , so during the day I  almost always use contacts so I can wear sunglasses...  Cos I have an addiction to sunglasses !!! I love them :)

I have worn photo lens glasses for over 20 years.  My eyes have been light sensitive forever so this is pretty essential.  Once when I needed new glasses, I tried regular lens and then prescription sunglasses.  I really hated that.  The photo lenses adjust based on the intensity of the available light  (even very strong indoor light).

My eyes are very sensitive to light so I have to have the transition lenses. Sometimes it is annoying to have to wait a few minutes for the glasses to lighten back up when coming from out of doors, but the alternative is a migraine for me, so I will exercise my patience and simply wait it out. Hope this helps!

I wear glasses always and I have transition lenses. I find them very helpful for keeping the sun out of my eyes.

I have glasses to see far away, no I didn't get transition lenses as my dad had them and said he didn't care for them as his never really became clear when he was indoors.
