I can't seem to go to sleep unless I have warm food, warm food knocks me out cold. What condition do I have?

Dear Laura Tedford,

Food is actually well known to be a soporific...a physician once told me that for his patients who cannot sleep he recommends they just eat something.

Calcium is especially soothing, thus many people take a glass of warm milk before bed just for that reason.

I don't think it is a actual medical condition as much as a psychological one. Warm food is comforting and makes easy to relax. You have to relax to sleep.
