What Should You Do If Your Teacher Really Hates You And It's Making You Seriously Depressed?

There are some teachers that do pick on some students. I had one of my sons teachers who was constantly criticizing him and belittling him in front of the class and I got pissed. I wrote a very strong letter to the principal and expressed to her my feeling and I told her that if that teacher does not apologize to my son for the way she is treating him that I would file a moral character complaint against her. I called the front desk to speak with the principal the following day and she took her time. I called again and siad I am calling because YOU don't WANT ME TO COME DOWN THERE. She then got the message and contacted me. I appreciate teachers. I really do, but I don't appreciate teachers that degrade students, call them stupid, tell kids your agitating. Say race related things, its not right. And if you don't have the patience for kids then please do not be a teacher.

You will not have that teacher forever, I hated my PE teacher but eventually I learned not to care about what he said or thought, or if he mocked me I would tell my parents and they would do something about it.

You are never alone, speak to a parent, friend or another trusted adult, you will find a solution. You can speak to the Samaritans.org if you feel overwhelmed or sad or feel you need to speak to someone, they can even email you! Please don't give up, many of us are going through a hard time, but for many reasons, we should just get through it. Better things are to come.

I have the same problem,my teacher's a witch,she hates my guts. I don't think she could care less if I jumped off of a cliff! But I'm pushing though the school year and looking forward for it being over. I hang out with my friends at lunch n stuff and that makes me less mad so when you get yelled at for practically no reason or if she makes you feel stupid in front of the class and embarrasses you try telling a parent or just act like you don't care and go hang out with friends!

Yeah, its true: Teachers do pick favorites, which is super annoying! But who cares what they think? I have the same problem with my math teacher, and it makes me SO mad that she treats many people unfairly. But just remember: You are going to school for YOU, not them, and it is up to you to take full advantage of your education. I know this is MUCH easier said then done... But just keep it in mind. Your teacher may hate you and you may dread going to their class like I do but just work hard and get through thier class. Look forward to the better parts of your day like friends or favorite subjects. You may be sad, mad or depressed but keep on smiling on the outside and go out with some friends and blow off some steam later.

I have the same problem I don't think my English teachers likes me for several reasons but all I do is try to ignore her and make sure I get my work completed correctly so she has nothing to say. And if she is just a straight ass hole then tell a parent

Sleep in her classes? Well I do it! :P if you CAN , do concentrate in her class so that she'll soon stop hating you too! Cause all teachers kinda like it when their students are concentrating, or even acting out that they are actually understanding the concepts!

Hello. I'm in same situation.. And I'm really dreadful about my professor. She seems not to like all my ideas at all. It all started when I asked a question that never satisfied her. And she blamed me for asking the question.. (I think it took 10 minutes to clarify my question and still, I wasn't able to clarify it) Anyways, that moment is really over my head right now. And all I can do is wait for my final grade., hoping that she won't fail me.., I can really feel that she makes me look stupid everytime I talk to her. Urgh. However, right now, I'm trying not to think of her monstrous face.. Shifting my attention to good things... Happy memories.. Go to the school counselor I guess.
It's the only avenue I can see to pursue.
State your case, perhaps ask to be placed in another teachers class.

First off...Let me bring you back to reality. There is nothing on this world worth killing yourself over, I don't care what the situation is. How do you know that your teacher hates you? Has she said it from her mouth? Or do you assume that she hates you? You know, life is filled with all kinds of obstacles and different things that we must face from day to day but the solution to that problem is....You must deal with it.If you let everything a person do or say to you get to you emotionally, then you will never make it! So pull yourself together and start thinking smart....Start dealing with this issue and soon I'm sure it will pass and if it doesn't then it will be okay. If she does hate you, then let her hate you...She doesn't provide for you, clothe you, put food on your table, put breath in your body, or put a roof over your head. She won't be you're teacher forever...So stay strong and think positive and I assure you that everything will be alright.

Same its happened to me today my teacher who is an effing b*stard put me in the worst group ever possible and I got annoyed and my friends said don't cry so I tried not to, I walked in the group and I was with him and all my friends were feeling soo sorry for me then they offered  me to go in their group but my teacher didnt let me which made me annoyed but they sed just stay here so I did then he started calling my name so I came then he was saying this lecture about how I was the only one not following my rules so I missed 5mins of my golden time for the most crapiset reason then I started crying then he did nothing about it.

Hey man, I'm going through the same thing.I don't think my science teacher likes me at all and thinks that my work is crap from just one screw-up and is upset with me right now. I'm also feeling the same way you are. But you know what, I'm just going to let it go and prove her wrong because my classwork and homework are great and teachers have no idea who you are and are wrong to judge someone in a single school year. The only people who definitely know you are your family and friends and those are the people who can make you feel better about your problems. So keep your head high and your self esteem higher because there are people who care about you and love you.

My teacher hates me too- and for no reason. I get straight A's and never do anything wrong, yet she bites my head off when I ask a question, and she grades unfairly. My friends joke that I have anger issues (and I probably do- ask my teammates), so we put her face on a punching bag. If she is really hurting you, talk to the principal. See ya at anger management! *lol*

look up your teacher in the yellow pages, find their house and t.p it. Also, it's helpful if you leave behind what looks like a bloody tampon. Food dye or red markers work great for this!

Talk to another teacher which can help you and I might help get things of your chest at the minute I think a teacher hates me because he always shouts at me for no reason but tell your parents to complain on parents evening about that certain teacher or tell a friend

Yea same here don't feel sad some techers are mean but in life you can't always think of how they feel of you, cause reallly how cares about them!

I have the same problem. I accidentally didn't do my homework for one day and I got copying it from a friend. She gave me a you on it and that totally dropped my grade  -.-;; my parents got so pissed. Now, if I don't do something in science class she starts totally shouting at me and she's always sighing when she comes to check if I do my hw or when I turn in a test. It's so annoying.... I think she has something about asians. Anyway, to help you,, try not to care.. That's what I'm doing right now and so far I think it's oki :] just remember you aren't the only one with a cruel science teacher :]
