You have not mentioned that which of your pet is having distemper? Dog or cat?  As you have asked this question in the dogs section, I assume that you are asking this question about distemper in your dog. Distemper in dogs is called canine distemper and this is a contagious condition caused by a virus. This virus can affect nervous system, GI tract and respiratory symptoms. Symptoms are
  1. Vomiting
  2. Diarrhea
  3. Dehydration
  4. Loss of appetite
  5. Blindness
  6. Tremors
  7. Seizures
  8. Paralysis
There are no treatment available but symptoms can be treated. So, it will be better to get advice from your vet.
