One true and tested system is to wrap the affected area with an electrical sticky tape several layers and leave it for a week at a time it seems the virus does not like either the sickness or the plastic and the wart goes away. The other solution is an acid solution available from the chemist. Last comment don't use the first suggestion if the wart is on the end of your nose.

This is what I do. I don't pick at it, I don't put a bandaid on it or anything. I leave it alone, and in less then 2 weeks it will go away.Or you can do it the old fashion way by getting that wart medicine. Hope this answers your question.

A wart can appear on any part of the body. It is generally red in color. There are several home remedies as well as clinical solutions to remove a wart. Removing a wart is not risky is most cases unless the patient is diabetic. In such a case the sufferer should visit his doctor.

Touching a wart, irritates it and helps it to become bigger because the red blood cells spread. If there is a wart on your foot, do not walk barefoot as warts are infectious and it could spread to other people. Stick an adhesive tape to a wart for 7 days. On removal you will find that the wart has come off with it. Castor oil is another popular home remedy, regularly apply castor oil to the wart and it dies out. Heating the wart sometimes kills the bacteria that are causing it. But this works in only certain types of warts. Doctors generally use freezing to get rid of the wart. They use liquid nitrogen to freeze the wart, this dries out the wart and it comes off easily.

There are various treatment options available to address warts (common warts and plantar warts). First you can use herbal remedies as topical solutions. Some of the most common herbal remedies that you can apply to treat warts include garlic oil, lemon balm, olive leaf extract, apple cider vinegar or oregano oil. Another option is to use an otc medication for warts such as Wartanol, or any other otc wart removal medication of your choice. Simply apply the medication on the warts and cover it with a bandage. Repeat the process daily until the warts disappear. If the warts are on their advanced stage, it will be best to see a doctor to get the right treatment. In cases like this, more aggressive treatment might be necessary, which may include freezing, minor surgery, or laser therapy.

I had warts as a kid.... I had them frose off, I tried creams and everything that the doctor told me to try and finally I had to have the surgically removed. If you are sure it is a wart and if it's tiny get some tweasers and pull it off. It will bleed quite a bit but I had to do it so that I wouldn't have to go through surgery again. Once your bodies immune system gets stronget things will slow down and stop like mine did. I haven't had a wart in years... Don't pick at the warts it will cause them to spread and always wash the area and your hands after removing a wart.

It depends what kind of wart it is. If it is a planters wart you will probably need to get it removed from a laser. I have personal experience with this, I've had a planters wart on the bottom of my foot, those warts are pretty severe, and I had to get it removed with a laser.

Although you should try wart removal, you can get more home remedies to get rid of warts of any kind.
