It has not been proven but HIV women do report more problems with their period like lack of, irregular, increase PMS, more pain and heavier bleeding. It is not know for sure if it is the medication that is the factor or the disease itself or that they are under the care of a physician but anytime a women is ill and their body is stressed that does affect their period.
