Usually on the finger or toe, bathe the infected area in warm to bearably hot, (not scalding) water frequently. This can allow the pus to be excised by pressure. It will likely reform, so repeat. If it's still an open wound, cover with a good antibiotic and Band-aid. If it has closed over, you'll likely need antibiotics from your family doctor, with whom you should always check, anyway.

Drip hot wax from a burning candle onto the finger/toenail and affected area. It hurts but it works.
