Paralysis occurs due to intensity of various different diseases. Mostly paralysis occur when some disease directly or indirectly effect central nervous system. It also occurs due to blood clotting in the brain. Paralasis is not necessarily permanent but any signs of lameness and you should take your cat to a Vet as soon as possible.
