MRSA stands for methicillin resistant Staphylococcus aureus. It is a disease that is spread by a bacteria that causes skin infections. MRSA can defintely spread from human to human contact. It can either spread through physical contact with the infected person or through an object that is touched by an infected person.

My son developed mersa in the coal mine and they are saying that that is impossible unless he had a 24 hour incubation period. Is this true

This is bacterial infection and it is not contagious in nature and cannot infect others through personal contact. There is not dangerous disease and people having strong and weak immune system can be infected with this disease so there is nothing to worry about. Just take some anti-bacterial medicine that will help you.

Thats a lie... U can give people mersa by a personal contact. If u scartch the area u have it in and the infection gets on ur body u touch something and someone with a open wound can catch it. Cause the bacteria will grow within the open wound.

UMMM......maybe you shouldnt post comments if you dont know what your talking about. It is highly contagious and can be spread through personal contact. All it takes is for one to not know they have it and touch thier sore, then touch some1 else. So seriously dont lead people to believe wrong things
