Absolutely, all health care professionals ,prior to diagnosis of any mental heath issues should make sure there isn't a physical case of the symptoms that are occurring. If they can't diagnosis the causes, they should refer you to another professional that can.Wrong diagnosis of mental health issues are extremely dangerous. It can cause more problem s for the individual if gone un-diagnosed.
