Arterial fibrillation (AF) is common type of cardiac arrhythmia which is characterized by absence of coordinated atrial systole. On ECG, P waves are absent. AF can show many symptoms like palpitation, poor exercise tolerance, fatigue, chest pain, dyspnea, weakness, and lightheadedness and dizziness. AF can be manged by use of anticoagulants, calcium channel blockers, beta blockers and cardioversion.
