I'm wondering if you mean scleroderma which is a skin disease.

The skin shows signs of inflammation and becomes thick. It is the formation of scar tissue in the skin and organs of the body. This can affect a person's arms, legs, chest, back, face, elbows, etc.But no one seems to know what causes it. Genetics seem to play a big role in this disease. This particular skin disease is found to affect more women than men. Scleroderma should be taken very seriously because it can affect your internal organs.

I hope this helps you. Take care.
