The best thing for dehydration is water but you say it goes right through you. That's a good thing. Your body doesn't release all of the water you drank. It retains some of that in your body which helps your body recover from dehydration.
The next best thing would be any drink with electrolytes. Gatorade, Powerade or any other sports drinks are packed full of electrolytes. You might want to try coconut water too. Great for dehydration and even better for dehydration due to a hangover.
