"Peri-fimbrial adhesion" is a medical diagnostic procedure that helps determine if the tubes are open or blocked.
The process involves inserting a dye inside the uterus. If the dye spills in the fallopian tubes, the x-ray will show what is called "Free Spillage", meaning that the fallopian tubes are open (which means you'll still be able to conceive).
However, the spill could be loculated, which means that it could collect in small puddles of dye. This indicates possible presence of peritubal adhesions on the outside of the fallopian tubes caused by scar tissue fuid up related to endometriosis, pelvic infection, fibroids, etc.
Should you have a problem with this diagnosis, it can be treated with surgery in some cases with success.
Good luck!
