Hello,
People often suggest that washing and/or conditioning your hair regularly will stop hair loss but this is simply not the case. Depending on your hair type, over washing it can make matters far worse.
In order to stop hair loss, you have to consider both external and internal factors to get to the root of the cause, at which point you can tackle the problem directly.
Is it external?
If you have noticed your hair falls out due to certain products, try isolating the products one by one and see which one is causing the damage. It might be worthwhile to consider a more natural approach to hair care by using organic hair products that don't contain silicones and sulphates, which can be highly damaging to your hair and scalp AND cause hair loss. Also excessive use of heat styling products such as straighteners and curlers may be causing this, since heat travels up the hair shaft and causes permanent damage, so it might be a good idea to lay off the heat a little and definitely invest in some thermal protection products.
Is it internal?
Our hair is the last place in the human body to receive nutrition, so if your body is not well balanced, your hair may be deprived of the nutrients it needs to stay healthy and grow. Consider amending your diet and taking up some hair vitamins that can encourage it's stimulation and revival.
I hope this helps.
Use good products on hair, Don't over process in any way. Massage scalp as often as you can. Might be worth looking into new products, such as hair thickening shampoos and conditioners that give your hair a thicker look. Find a good supplement to care for hair and nails. I use pills bought from a good chemist.
Most of the better products for thinning hair can be bought from a wholesaler's shop and not what you find in the supermarkets.
I have been losing my hair for years and have gone down all the usual routes that cost a fortune paying hundreds on products from hair clinics, nothing has worked and now use products to give me the fuller look. Worth paying a little more for the products than wasting money on empty promises.
