Well unfortunately I just found out I have lung cancer. My family knows, but I don't know how to tell my friends. Help?

I'm so so sorry to hear.  I'm sure your Doctor has a plan of treatment for you. They are doing amazing  things these days to eradicate lung cancer. If you can group your closet friends together at one time, so you don't have to keep repeating things and just tell them. If they are  true friends they will support you any way they can. Please keep us posted on how you're doing. My best to you during this difficult time. Take care......

Very sorry to hear this and wish you all the luck in the world and prayers for you for a speedy and total recovery.  As for telling your friends, why even bother as its none of their business and they probably would be better off not knowing, unless youre looking for people to feel sorry for you here. I seriously doubt if that's what you truly want. There really isn't much they can do for you that doctors aren't already, so why worry them with bad news like this. There is already enough bad news in the world today.

Chances are it'll leak out somewhere along the line and then youll wish it hadn't but an FYI here, you just told a lot of people in the world by posting this.  Good luck my friend
