Yes indeed, but I try not to make a habit of it.
My wife was knocked down by a motorist while she was cycling. She wasn't badly hurt and we understand such things can happen but he abused her for getting in his way. Not nice.
An hour or two later we were in the local shopping centre together when she saw him again, on foot this time. "I walked over and said, "Excuse me, sir, but are you the gentleman who knocked myu wife off her bike?" And the bloody fool, who mistake over-politeness for weakness, said, "Yes."
So I hurt him.
It's surprising how quickly a crowd gathers when there's a bit of entertainment in the mall. >:-)
