Other than self-defense or family defense, what's been your other reasons for hitting someone?

The guy started to go on my nerve with no reason and he done a well job. After few minutes i pushed his turn off button.

I don't know if this also counts as family defense. But if i see someone abusing some other whether physically or verbally, i'll approach regardless of the condition. I can't stand abuses at any kind.

I scare people more when I remain calm and that's how I'm going to try to approah it.

I can usually take quite a bit before I get that angry and I'm glad I've cooled down my temper but direct insults have gotten a couple of people slugged over the years. Been a long time though now. Usually just uncalled for insults would do it for me. There were a couple of people on Ask that I wouldn't have minded tangling with. But that's all in the past. I'm pretty mellow now.

Well, I know a few people that if I really though it would acctually accomplish something, I would try to beat some sense into their heads.

I don't honestly think I've ever hit anybody outside of just being playful, like when my best friend hit me in the shoulder, so I hit him back. I've never ever hit my sister and I've never had to defend myself like that, so hitting is just not something I do.

I've only ever hit one person, but it was family defense. It happened last week actually. He was making fun of my brother.

Frustration, I suppose. (I'm talking my sisters and I hitting each other, but it was never very hard, only enough to make my parents yell at us).

I'm  not a physically violent person, though, and I haven't hit anyone in years.

I think I have only hit someone while sparring in a controlled environment.

I don't think anyone was able to provoke me to physical violence in my life.
