I take the 42 questions as important philosophical contemplations...after all, we did learn (well me, anyway) I learned on the old Ask.com that 42 is the Meaning of Life, which when you finally know the meaning of life it takes a big weight off your shoulders...mystery of the ages resolved, and all that...

I don't see them as directed at anyone. They don't want to answer? Then don't. They actually make me chuckle most of the time because I can take a joke. Have fun with them. Your choice.
