Have you ever been through depression because of one sided love and ended up bieng in a friendzone ? how did you get over it?

I knew a girl, who I liked her very much for years, yet she did not appear to think the same of me, even as a friend. She would often comment on how much she's better friends and closer with other people or make comments about me being socially inept or unemotional. She ended up dying, so I kinda had to get over it as there was nothing that could be done to get her to like me when she's dead.
