How to get a fever?

Although a fever can be a nasty experience, not everybody hates it.  This is especially true of some
students, who may have loads of homework or want to avoid school the next morning.

Below are some common ways by which your temperature can be increased:

  • Spend the whole day overworking your body, by playing football or doing some other strenuous exercise.
  • Get home all sweaty, and drink many cups of hot tea, whilst taking less water. This will increase your body temperature more.
  • Take a bath in hot water and try to keep the bathroom as steamy as possible.
  • After your bath, drink more hot tea and do not switch on your air conditioner - instead you may even want to turn the heater on.
  • Stay up late at night watching television.
  • During the time you are awake, keep drinking more tea or you may substitute strong, hot coffee, so as to stay awake.
  • As you are awake in your living room, make sure that you have something warm on, put on a sweater or jersey that will keep you boiling on the inside.
  • Finally, you can go to bed at roughly 3am in the morning and this time instead of one blanket, have 5 of them.
With this you would be very likely to have a high temperature in the morning, high enough for you to miss school.

Note that when doing this, you may land yourself in more trouble than you might be in with a bully at school who you're trying to avoid, for example. Maybe it would be a good idea to speak to someone about why you want to miss school, if that's what you're trying to achieve? They might be able to help you.

How to get a fever:
  • I took a super hot bath and sat in it for about 45 minutes making sure the room is extra steamy.
  • I got out and put sweatpants and a long-sleeve shirt and a jacket on.
  • Trust me, when you get out, you feel like you're going to faint, so move fast.
  • Then I went to my bed with about 5 blankets on and fell asleep.
  • I woke up super-hot at night, and I slept with sweats and a sweater on.

If ur mother tells you to stop or u get too hot, dont drink water have a hot bath and just keep hot. Resist the urge to go crazy. If u like being hot and cozy I highly suggest u freeze urself in ur freezer.

Just drink hot water. But extremly hot water about 5 8oz cups should do it. Then sleep with 7 blankets on. You will have a fever but if you don't, eat a lot and then make yourself throw up twice. This works all the time. I have missed 21 excused days from school due to this.

There are a lot of ways to get a fever, but there is one that always worked for me. Hold a raw onion under your arm pit for 30 mins. (Half an hour). You will see how your body temperature increases.

The simple way to get a high fever is to place an onion under your armpit for a whole night.

You will feel the difference. And if one night is not enough, place it for 3 days, it works :)

Put onions under your armpit and I tried putting onions in my socks. Seriously, I got a high fever. Really works, then I ate sweets and didn't drink, then I stayed up all night. Seriously 100% works.

Shower with cold water, and then go outside for like 30min-1 hour. And when you go to sleep be sure your room is very cold, have your window up all night.

 Good luck;)

If you get a cold, don't drink any water. This causes you to become dehydrated and dizzy, your body will then be forced to work extra hard with less water powering the creation of red blood cells. You'll get sicker instead of better, and viola! You have a fever. You can also exercise when you're sick, as it heats up your body as well.

Remember: Refrain from drinking.

Boil some water and damp the towel in it. Put the towel on your forehead, neck or armpit. It works.

P.S. Do this before checking your temperature. Hope this works!

Eating a lot doesn't make me sick (But that's just me)

Stay up really late watching or doing on a screen, I make you look more tired and sick, and do this while wearing sweatpants, a sweatshirt, use two blankets to sleep in and rap one around yourself, that has given me a fever.

What I did was don't t shower for ages and wrap yourself up in loads of blankets. This will cause you to sweat. Resist the heat and stay there then run down to your parents and say you're about to faint. They will keep you off school for sure!

Take a super hot shower bath, go out in the cold weather with your head still wet and you body damp wearing loose clothing for about 30 minutes to 1 hour. You can also slice an onion and put it under your armpits when walking in the cold weather, to make it more effective. Make sure your room is cold, sleep without blanket on.

Hope it works :) I wear lesser clothing after showering; a half sleeve shirt and a pant.  ((CAUTION: Make sure your mom isn't looking!! ))

From what I know about fevers, is that all a Fever really is, is that it's your body fighting an infection. A fever is when your body raises the tempurature to obserdly high levels of heat to kill of an infection that has invaded the body. Which is why a cold, or a sinus infection can lead to a fever.  So, in my opinion, I think that the best way to get a fever, is to be in physical contact with someone who already has one, or to recieve some sort of viral infection. It doesn't really matter how you recieve the infection, but the infection has to invade your body in order to get a fever. And by the way, being in cold weather doesn't actually get you sick. That's been dissproven. And what gets you sick, are actually the viruses that are outside. And usually they prefer warmer temp, so they invade your body. Or something like that.

Getting a high fever is a lot easier than it seems first you want to make people think your sick (if your at school or work)so first walk into the place you want to get the high fever in put your hands on your forehead people will probably be looking at you and if someone asks if you are alright just say i just don't feel that well. And it should be 1-2 minutes now take your hands off your forehead and your forehead will either be warm or cold depending on if your hands are cold or warm.Tell your teacher you don't feel good and the first place teachers or nurses check is your forehead. And then they'll see how warm or cold your forehead is and then you will probably get to leave or burn up some time. I recommend you Home remedies for fever through this you get instant of knowledge about What's good for fever .

I did this once, because I needed to miss my date. I took a shower and turned on the water really hot, then in the shower I ate some shampoo. When I was done, I put on a pair of sweat pants and three sweaters and drunk ginger tea. I puked for two hours. I missed school for like three days.

Vomiting gets you hot because of the pressure you use to get the chunks up. To vomit, crack an egg in a glass of orange juice then stir it up really well and drink it. You will get a fever and you just threw up, so no school or work for you!

Buy chili pepper and eat 1/4th of the teaspoon. I tried that in school, then I got really high fever, then I was sweating, and the nurse let me home! But then, at night, you'll have to experience sore throat and a gassy stomach because of the pepper. But it still works.

Just eat chocolates, don't drink water, next, eat fried chicken. After a while, you'll feel that your throat is very dry, resist drinking water, and slowly you'll have a flu & a sore throat. The next two days, if you still have a flu & sore throat, you'll have a fever.

I just got a "fever" by taking a shower and getting a bunk of water in my nose. After that, I held a super-hot rag to my forehead. My mom thought I had a fever, but she gave me the thermometer anyway. I ran upstairs and said I wanted softer tissues to blow my nose, after that I got my water in my sink hot and put the thermometer in it. She bought it, so now I am staying home.

I heard that the big red gum gets you a fever by chewing it for a couple of seconds and putting it on the back of your neck. My friend's tried it and said it worked. I just bought the gum yesterday (Saturday) and I'm going to try it tomorrow morning; I hope it works.

Well, last time I got a fever by eating a whole bar of chocolate but not stopping - only keep eating until there's none. I never knew that eating a whole bar of chocolate would make me sick and I found myself terribly dizzy in the morning one day, near fainting.

The one thing that gives you a high fever is an infection somewhere in your body. Also an injury somewhere that has gotten infected. Flu and cold symptoms will cause an increase as well.

Take a bike, go as fast as you can, without dropping dead.

Do that for at least fifteen minutes. Never sit down on the saddle, because then you're not going fast enough.

You'll be corpse white, around 40°c fever, fast heartbeat, and sweat for about one hour.
(You might also want to refrain from eating that day. However watch it you might pass out using this.)

Eat at the Golden Corral. They have so much food your stomach will hurt. Then tell your parents you feel sick. Or fake it. I feel sick and the next day I'm fine but I act like I'm still sick.
