It could be a lack of calcium but usually it just appears when you have bruised it or put an amount of pressure on your fingernail. Don't worry, I have them too and usually they just disappear or grow out with the fingernail. If that happens then just cut it off. Lack of Zinc is a myth so if you have it its definitely not lack of zinc or sometimes even a lack of calcium.
