I have it now. Most of the day on and off. Was afraid it was my heart but all I have to do is place my hand on left chest and can clearly feel the mild not painful but annoying spasm in my pectoral muscle. Weird weird ! Very irritating and annoying... Really bothering me now.. Happens every 30 secs to 2-3 minutes.. I think it is dehydration from drinking too much and anxiety... What the hell? Please stop...

Ok, found this because I have been experiencing muscle spasms on the left/outer side of my chest for about 3 weeks now. I've also been tired a lot for a couple months. Had my blood checked, ekg, thyroid checked and all is normal. Blood pressure is high periodically though. I also get this bad odor in my nose. Doctor doesn't know what's going on. Could Fibromyalgia be the cause?

This disease is also called Fibromyalgia. So if you suffer from the muscles spasms the first thing you should do is to consult with the doctor in the first time so that the disease can be easily pointed out. So the muscle spasms can occur to any person at any time even if you are sleeping. So there are many ways you can try in order to relieve your pain from the muscle spasms.

There are many muscles in which the pain can be occurred. The special muscle which can be easily affected is the back pain, legs, arms and other parts of the body. There are many reasons for causing the muscle spasms. One of the reason for the muscle spasms is low oxygen in that specific area and the lack of proper blood circulation in the human body so this is the reason the people suffer from the muscles pain.

So you should do regular exercises in order to control the muscle spasms and take proper diet which can increase the flow of blood in the human body.

I'm not even a doctor but I know that answer is way off base. Fibromyalgia is associated primarily with pain, not spasms - it's a poorly defined syndrome which many think is actually several different syndromes lumped under one title. It's far more likely that you've been working out, and the spasms are caused by the muscle recovering after exercise. Eat a banana and see if that helps - you're probably just low on potassium.

I have no pain and just muscle spasms - been having it for the last three days and am finding it very repretitive and quite weird. I have been doing alot of gardening lately and had a big weekend where I was on the drink Sat and Sun night. Once again no pain but just under my left color bone it feels like I have a frog trying to escape - Not sure if I should be worried here.
