Scabies are mites which live in the skin by making burrows. These are contagious and spread from person to person. Scabies cause intense itching especially during night. Insecticides are used to treat scabies. Scabies can also affect nose and ears but outsides of these organs not inside because they can live where keratin layer is present in the epidermis.
