Take the baby to the Dr for a complete blood work with white cells differentiate, the nodes have been swollen for more than a month&tbsp;to my understanding  without mention of other symptoms.

I am currently going through this with my three year old son. I just discovered it yesterday. The dr. Has done a complete blood count but I am still not comfortable with it. My son is his normal playful, cheerful self  but the node is the size of a 50cent piece and I am worried. The Dr. Gave me antibiotics and wants to see him back in 4 days to check the progress of it. I am thinking that I will have a second opinion.

No fever or any other cold symptoms. No infections in his body at all (after many tests.)

Swollen lymph nodes are a sure sign of infection.  my youngest child had similar probelms.  When I took her to her pediatrician, he said she had an ear infection.  Has he been pulling on his ears???

I hope you find out soon what is wrong....

We went to the doctor, again, this morning, and he ordered a bunch of tests, finally. So maybe we will have an answer, soon. He doesn't have an ear infection, or anything like that.

Our baby has a peasized under the skin and on the left neck. She has an ear infection that is pretty bad and the doctor was not to worried about it. When the antibiotics are done we will keep an eye on it and she has her one year appointment in two weeks!

It might be the mumps call the dr tomorrow or if he is bad then take him to the emergancy room but tell them when you get there what you think it might be.that way he don't infect other people.
