Hello,

A 'healed granuloma' is simply the mark or scar, or any type of remnants, of a granuloma that has now healed, i.e. Recovered.

Granuloma

This term refers to a type of inflammation condition, found in various diseases. It often occurs when our system naturally attempts to ward off alien substances but is unable to do so.

Granulomas are sometimes referred to as nodules, and these can be found quite commonly in the throat, as a result of excessive singing or improper use of speaking voice. This is why an ENT (ear, nose & throat doctor) will be able to send a camera down the throat and identify the prevalence of active granuloma or the mark of a healed granuloma. This is simply an old lesion which means that it is no longer active and therefore nothing to worry about.

I hope this helps.
