Hello,
I have your answer. GP-6 is a common complaint in males. This is a B6 vitamin deficiency. He will not out grow it. As he is growing a good vitamin rich in B6, B12,  all the major B group will help. He may be tired at times, but, that is the most that will happen. Beans, Bannas, Turkey, Oatmeal are natural ways to get vitamin B. A telltale sign that he needs vitamin B, dry cracked skin on lips or body.

You were wrong with this comment, No one with this disorder, GP6D should EVER bee told to eat beans! This can trigger hemolysis and if continued can even require blood transfusions or death! Please do your research completely before you give dangerous advice!!!!!
