Fibromyalgia is characterized by wide spread pain all over the body. Exact etiology is not known. It is more generically inherited. Among its symptoms pain and tenderness to light touch is common. It also causes tingling of the skin and nerve pain. The fibromyalgia numbness is common in arms and legs. So your problem can be due fibromyalgia. But differential diagnosis is required.
