MRSA or Methicillin resistant Staphylococcus aureus are staph bacteria which are resistant to many antibiotics and difficult to treat. These bacteria are present everywhere in the environment including on our skin and nasal passage without any harm. As these bacteria are opportunistic bacteria, so these can cause infection usually when skin has cuts, burns or boils. These bacteria can also cause systemic infections when entered in blood stream.
