Can we prevent heart hypertrophy and so decrease heart rate, so as to prevent chances of heart syndrome in athletes etc?

If you are a healthy adult, your heart can accelerate to compensate for the activity. If it does not, there's a problem. It can be a heart condition overlooked by a professional, a virus, drugs (aka) steroids or other 'enhancements'. The heart is able to take on A LOT...only if its healthy and not tampered with
