The Gas that is the stomach, or anywhere in the digestive track like small intestine, esophagus, large intestines comes either from the air that is swallowed or through normal breakdown of certain undigested food items through harmless bacteria that are present in the colon. Gas in the digestive tract could cause Belching, Flatulence, Abdominal pain, discomfort and bloating.

You could control your gas in the stomach through dietary control. However, a doctor can determine what foods cause gas in your stomach as this varies from person to person. For some people fruits, vegetables is the cause and for some whole grains and milk products are the cause. High fat foods are normally the cause in many people.

Doctors also give prescription medicines to help reduce the symptoms. Here are some home remedies:

- Make a tea or simply chew some Caraway seeds after your dinner. You can make a tea by putting 1 teaspoon of these seeds in a cup and adding boiling water. Cover the cup and let it remain for 10 minutes. Then strain well and drink upto 3 cups a day.  Take the tea on empty stomach.
- You can also make cinnamon tea by stirring 1/2 tsp of cinnamon powder in 1 cup hot water.
