You may have an ulcer in your stomach. You could also have GERD or gastroesophageal reflux disease...or in easy terms, some of your stomach acid travels back up your "food tube" and causes burning.

There are many medications available over the counter like zantac or proposed that will help decrease the amount of stomach acid. However, you should really visit your doctor for a proper diagnosis as it could be an ulcer than needs a different type if medication.

Based upon what you said it sounds like a case of too much acid in the stomach constantly, otherwise referred to as acidosis. For temporary relief and cure I would suggest drinking milk, which is a base, to neutralise the acid within the stomach.
